How Amazon Handmade fees work in 2026
For every unit sold, Amazon Handmade deducts a referral fee of 15% or $0.30, whichever is greater. This calculator applies it to the item price plus the shipping you charge, which is how Amazon calculates referral fees on the total sales price.
Handmade sellers need a Professional selling plan, normally $39.99 a month. Approved Handmade artisans pay it for the first month only, after which Amazon waives it. If you use Fulfillment by Amazon, its fees are extra and not included here.
